Legend Car Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt & rain) tire rule update #31620-1:

In order to make the transition to the Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt & rain) tire easier for the competitors, the total weight & right side weight rules will be adjusted for cars using the Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt & rain) tire.

All Legend Cars with a FZ 09 engine, using the Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt or rain) tires will be required to be a minimum of 1230 lbs. total & 585 lbs. right side weight (with the driver) after any event.

All Legend Cars with a 1250 engine, using the Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt or rain) tires will be required to be a minimum of 1280 lbs. total & 610 lbs. right side weight (with the driver) after any event.

  • Legend Cars racing on asphalt, using the Federal/USLCI tire will remain under the weight rules as posted in the 2020 INEX rulebook.

  • Legend Cars racing on dirt, using the Hoosier/USLCI (dirt) tire or the American Racer/USLCI tire will remain under the weight rules as posted in the 2020 INEX rulebook.

As previously posted, these Hoosier/USLCI (asphalt, rain & dirt) tires will be permitted for use at all INEX sanctioned events beginning on March 27th.

Thank you for your cooperation as we make the transition to our new Hoosier/USLCI tire.
