Our 2019 Asphalt Oval Young Lion Champion is from Indian Trail North Carolina and can be found at his home track, Concord Speedway. Zack Miracle has been racing for four years. Miracle states, "I have been at a race track my whole life."

He grew up watching his dad run at various race tracks and knew that was what he wanted to do. "I knew I wanted to race a Bandolero as soon as I was old enough."

This 2019 Asphalt Oval Young Lion Championship means a lot to Miracle and his team. "Winning a National Championship is hard to accomplish. It means a lot to win the Championship for everyone involved with our team."

Miracle says that the biggest struggle he had to overcome this season was his lack of experience compared to some of the other drivers. He tells us that if he could redo any race this season, it would have been Round ten of the Bojangles Summer Shootout. "I would choose this race because I feel if I had gotten a little better restart, the second-place car would not have been able to get to my bumper and wreck me."  Miracle says that this incident cost him the 2019 Summer Shootout Young Lion Championship.

Fortunately for Miracle, there were also great moments at the Bojangles Summer Shootout. His says his most memorable moment this season was round three when he won.

Miracle would like to thank many people after his 2019 Asphalt Oval Young Lion Championship win. "I would like to thank my family, everyone at Steven Ross Motorsports, Jordan Black at Apex Driver Development, Greg Peterson, and the INEX organization for giving up a platform to race."

Congratulations to Zack Miracle, our 2019 Asphalt Oval Young Lion Champion.
