U.S. Legend Cars International to Partner with Hoosier Racing Tire Moving Into the 2020 Racing Season

HARRISBURG, N.C. (Feb. 28, 2020) - Moving into the 2020 racing season, U.S. Legend Cars International will be partnering with Hoosier Racing Tire. This partnership will include moving all legend car and bandolero car racing tires to the Hoosier brand.
U.S. Legend Cars International has been working hand in hand with Hoosier Racing Tire to perfect the compound for the Legend asphalt oval, dirt oval and road course tires, as well as the Bandolero tires to ensure the tires meet the same standards as the current tires used by all divisions.
The Hoosier Racing Tires are modeled after the current Legend and Bandolero tire sizes, allowing drivers to keep their current Aero, Bassett and VanK wheels. With the size of the tires staying consistent with our existing tire, the change in manufacturer should have no impact on gear ratio.
The 2020 USLCI/Hoosier Racing Tire release date is set for mid-March and will be sold exclusively through U.S. Legend Cars International and our dealer network. The exact release date will be released shortly. This timeline will permit a cross-over period allowing competitors to continue to run their current Federal, American Racer, and INEX-approved Bandolero tires.
The Hoosier Racing Tire will be allowed in competition at all INEX Sanctioned events, beginning Friday, March 27; this does not include the 2020 Spring Battle at Texas Motor Speedway.
