Since the dawn of the Legend Car, road courses have hosted them for competition. It wasn't until 1997 when separate championships and a season-ending national race was created for Legend Car road course racers. Originally known as the Road Course Nationals, it was renamed the Road Course World Finals in 2000 when the reach of Legend Cars had spread across the globe. Globally, road courses are the circuit of choice for the Legend Car. Road Course World Finals regularly attracts drivers from not only across North America, but around the globe. The 2024 Road Course World Finals comes back to Charlotte in mid-November, taking place on the new outfield road course at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Specific dates will be announced at a later time.
