What was your favorite moment or memory of the 2025 season in your Legend Car?

My favorite moment was winning the Asphalt Nationals Race. Racing against the best drivers in my class especially going into the race in a 3 way tie was not only exciting but challenging.

Is there a particular series championship you won in 2025 that means more to you than the others?

Every championship means so much but winning the 2025 Cookout Summer Shootout really means the most to me. It is really the most challenging and the longest. We had so many obstacles including weather delays, rain, and to use rain tires or not. I was able to qualify on  the pole 8 times in a row which was a goal of mine.

What was the biggest contributing factor to your success in 2025 and improvements made from 2024?

I upped my game in every aspect.  Training in the gym and doing cardio to eating right and getting rest. I also trained weekly at Trackhouse with Sergio Campos. He and his son Cero really got me to another level. I can't thank them enough.

To be a double champion is very difficult. What does winning both the 2025 INEX Young Lions Asphalt and Road Course National Championships mean to you and the efforts you made this season?

This is a dream come true. My family and team have been traveling all year from NY to Florida to Vegas and back again!  It was difficult at the start switching back and forth from Road Course to Oval but I love the challenge. I really loved road racing in the rain.

What form of racing did you enjoy most in 2025; Asphalt Oval or Road Course?

I enjoyed Road Course more in 2025.  I liked the challenge of trying to be consistent on a longer track. You have to be perfect on every lap. I also get to race against the [Pro Division drivers] which is always a learning experience. And I get to see different drivers I don't see often on oval.

What is next for Ben Morabito’s racing journey?

I will be running pro in 2026 and getting into dirt racing also which I am really looking forward to. I can't thank CJ, Stan & Tom at 860 Motorsports enough for helping me get here. And of course my brother Nick, Mom & Dad.
