What was your favorite moment or memory of the 2025 season?
I would have to say having my family travel with me to all the races and just having their support no matter what the outcome is every race definitely makes for some great memories.
What was your biggest challenge you faced this season?
My biggest challenge has been not being afraid to try different things to the car even though alot of things didn’t help but that’s the only way to learn.
You have won four previous Dirt National Championships, but this is your first where the Legend Car Dirt Nationals was in North Dakota. Does the 2025 championship mean a little more because you captured the title in your home state?
Each championship definitely means alot in there own special way but to win one in my home state is probably a little extra special. There’s always that extra pressure and stress that’s involved when racing in your home state for a big event like this that makes it feel like an even bigger accomplishment from previous championships.
Who are the people who helped you win in 2025?
I couldn’t have done this without the support from my wife Cari and my son Mason they stick with me and keep me motivated through the good nights and bad. Also my sponsors Jo and Vic with Vilhauer Cattle Company, Brandon Lipp with Outlaw Construction and Curt and Darcy with Town and Country Bottle Shop. These small town businesses invest their hard earned money in me so to be able to recognize them on a national level is the least I can do for all their support!
Do you have your 2026 goals or plans already in place?
So far my main goal is to win [a sixth national championship].
