Bandoleros have long been a part of road course series with Legend Cars, and even included in past Road Course World Finals events. As a new season is upon us, their inclusion at locals events at Dominion Raceway, and series like the Silver State Road Course Series and Winter Heat will have a brand new meaning. For the 2026 season, INEX Racing Series is proud to announce the creation of a separate Bandolero Road Course National Championship for the Outlaw (ages 12 and older) and Bandit (ages 7-11) Divisions.
The National Championship and State Championship formats will be as follows:
- 10 Races will be required for a driver to be eligible for a Bandolero Road Course National Title
- INEX Road Course World Finals
- One INEX National Qualifier Feature
- Eight Additional "Local" Features
- 10 Races will be required for a driver to be eligible for a Bandolero Road Course State Championship
There must be at least 3 in a class to earn full (100) points
- If there are only 2 drivers then the winner receives 97 points
- If there is only 1 driver then the driver receives 94 points.
Bandoleros will be included during the previously announced INEX Road Course World Finals, October 30-November 1, 2026, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Already annouced road course schedules that include Bandoleros will be the Silver State Road Course Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on three weekends, beginning on December 5-7, followed by January 2-4 and January 30-February 1. Winter Heat will also include Bandoleros during its two weekends; January 16-18 and January 23-25.
