Maverick Bradshaw is coming off of a dominant Cook Out Summer Shootout run with six wins and being crowned the champion. He now has his eyes set on EchoPark Speedway for the Bandolero Nationals, before testing a Legend Car for the first time ahead of next season.

1. How did you get into racing?
My Uncle Spencer raced so when I turned five I started dirt racing at Millbridge, and when I turned seven I got the Bando.
2. How did you get your number?
My dad picked it.
3. Who’s your biggest inspiration for racing?
Bill Elliott.
4. What’s your favorite racing memory?
Probably the Summer Shootout because I won six races and the championship, and I’ll always keep that memory.
5. What did it mean to take home hardware after the shootout?
It means everything, [thanks to] my team AK for giving me a fast car. They just work really hard so I can have a rocket ship and win these races.
6. How do you measure success while racing, what do you aim for when you hit the track?
I aim to win all the races, because if you ain't first you’re last.
7. What’s the biggest difference between Bandos and Junior Sprints?
The junior sprints are really steady and it’s not [so] bumpy compared to a Bando.
8. What’s your favorite track you’ve raced at?
Probably Dominion Road Course because I love road courses, and my favorite oval track is Auburndale I’ll say because once I get to the track I just love it. The banking is perfect for Bandos.
9. What are your racing goals for 2026 and beyond?
To win the Bando National Championship, and testing a Legend Car for next season.
10. If you could race at any track in the world, what would it be?
The Daytona Road Course with a Porsche, it’s my dream car. I’ll have to say that because I’m really into Porsche's. They're my favorite cars.
11. What’s the biggest lesson that racing has taught you?
To get better and better until I become World Champion like Max Verstappen. He’s my favorite F1 driver and I hope to be like him one day.
12. What are other hobbies you have outside of racing?
I love fishing, we just went fishing in the ocean and I caught a big one so that was cool and my uncle caught a shark and it was a fun day.
