A five week sprint came to a close on Thursday with Round 8 of Thursday Thunder, which was capped off with a Nick Woodall Pro Division victory, his second of the summer, and a defense against a late charge from Jensen Jorgensen. For the second-straight night, Mitch Wright won the Semi-Pro feature, where he took the lead from Bryce Sanders in the opening laps of the race. In the Masters Division, Jeff Bolen won his third feature and still remains the only driver with multiple victories. All the way from California, Turner Brown once again won with his teammate Colt Johnson in pursuit, but Brown held strong for his fourth win of 2026.
Carson Sherman captured his seventh win in the Outlaws Division, while Daylen Pennington won his first in the Bandits. Bryce Castille won his third Chargers feature of the summer and miraculously, through eight rounds, there hasn't been a repeat winner in the Rookie Bandolero Division. Grayson Pressley was victorious on Thursday night.
Thursday Thunder takes a week off before returning on Thursday, July 9, ahead of EchoPark Speedway's Quaker State 400 NASCAR weekend.
