What is your favorite moment or memory of the 2025 road course season?

My favorite memory this road course season was my first win on a road course ever back at the Winter Heat in Charlotte. After my 7 years of racing, I finally got it done turning right!

What was the biggest challenge you faced in the road course championship this season?

The biggest challenge this season was World Finals at Dominion for sure. When I got stuffed in the tire barrier on Lap 1 in turn 12, I thought my championship hopes were over. But thanks to the 860 Motorsports crew, the got me fixed up in the hot pit. Then went to drive from 24th to 2nd to secure the title!

Was it a challenge bouncing back and forth between oval racing and road course racing this season?

I’ve developed a variety of “modes” in my mind for different kinds of racing, like road courses and ovals. It was challenging for sure, especially during Summer Shootout and Granite State. But that kind of switch in my mind lightened the pressure performing well at both significantly.

What is the most important trait to being a successful road course racer?

Being a successful racer in general is much more than a trait, it’s a mindset. You’re always pushing your own limits, finding that existing gap, and believing in your heart that you are the best driver. That’s what separates good drivers to champions.

The 2025 INEX Semi-Pro Road Course National Championship is your first INEX national championship. Does reality match the dream you have been chasing?

I didn’t run for any national titles when I started. Once I start becoming competitive enough, that’s when I knew it was time to get serious. I’ve been chasing an INEX championship for 5 years now. But after finishing 3rd in the Bandit championship, 2nd in Outlaws, 2nd for Young Lion Road Course, this one is special. And it feels amazing that this is finally a reality for me.

What is next for Neal Dulin’s racing journey?

My hopes are to move up into the Trans-Am Series for 2026 and eventually compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans which has been my forever dream. Even if it’s not meant to be, I’m still very blessed with all the talents God has gifted me and I can use them to serve a different purpose.
