Since 1998, the INEX Bandolero Nationals has visited 11 different tracks from Nevada to New York, and from Florida to Indiana. History will be made in 2024 as for the first time, the Bandolero Nationals will visit the State of Iowa and Hawkeye Downs Speedway.

“INEX is excited to be going to Hawkeye Downs Speedway and the Midwest for this year’s Bandolero Nationals,” said Scott Reinhardt, INEX General Manager. “We’re proud to the see the growth and support for INEX and U.S. Legend Cars in that region and from Hawkeye Downs, who has been a longtime supporter of our program.”

Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the 27th Bandolero Nationals will take place September 6-7 and will be only the second time the event has visited the Midwest (Indianapolis Speedrome, 2007).

"Hawkeye Downs Speedway is very excited to host the 2024 Bandolero Nationals. Our organization is a firm believer that racing is generational,” said Brian Gibson, Hawkeye Downs Speedway Race Director. “Our support of racing now is the future. We enjoy supporting young drivers who are passionate about racing. We hope they will continue to add fuel to that passion, passing it onto the next generation."

Hawkeye Downs joins BAPS Motor Speedway, Dominion Raceway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway as host tracks for INEX’s four year-end national events in 2024. BAPS Motor Speedway hosts the 28th Legend Car Dirt Nationals, October 10-12. The 33rd Legend Car Asphalt Nationals will be at Dominion Raceway, October 24-26. The year-end nationals will conclude with the 28th Road Course World Finals at Charlotte Motor Speedway in November.

Event details and registration for all year-end nationals will be released at a later date.
