NO. STONINGTON, CT - When the 2016 Midstate Site Development (MSD) Legends Series began in April, Noah Korner had the modest goal of contending for race wins by season's end. On Sunday, he has the opportunity to become the inaugural Series' Champion. The Central Connecticut State University student maintains a 30-point buffer over Maine's Jordan O'Brien.

While Korner is chasing his title, other drivers will be seeking to capitalize on several opportunities within INEX's championship system. Most notable is the coveted victory in the first race, which is also a National Qualifier. The winner will be automatically entered into contend for INEX's highest road course honors. In addition, the second race will also count for INEX national points. As the season heads into the final quarter, each and every national points opportunity becomes more and more important.

There are also a myriad of bonuses available on the local level. The Series' title sponsor, Midstate Site Development, is putting together a unique program for drivers in four of INEX's classes. Not only will the highest finishing Golden Master, Master, Pro, and Semi-Pro/Young Lion driver receive a custom trophy, but they will also be the recipients of a $100 bonus. This is a great opportunity for drivers to build upon the $2,500 in posted purse money for the event.
