For the second-straight year, the 27th Legend Car Road Course World Finals rolls into New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), October 6-8. Seventy-two competitors across four Legend Car divisions will not only compete for individual division championships, but also to secure INEX National Championships. Six countries – Canada, Denmark, Finland, South Africa, Sweden, and the United States – will be represented among the entrants.Additionally, the three-day event will have seven former Road Course World Finals Champions in attendance; Landen Lewis, Daniel Silvestri, Emil Persson, Shaun Buffington, Trevor Krouse, Robert Gayton, and Devin O’Connell.

Gorham, Maine’s Trevor Krouse, fresh off winning the 2023 Granite State Legends Cars Pro Championship, is looking to defend his 2022 Road Course World Finals title, albeit in 2023 he has advanced from the Semi-Pro Division into the Pro Division. He notes that the heightened competition is the biggest challenge he has faced this season.

“Racing against guys like Daniel Wilk, Danny Chisholm, and Landen Lewis definitely hasn’t been easy this year,” said Krouse, “but it’s been lots of fun! I feel like the hard racing in the Pro class has made me a better driver this year.”

The driver Krouse and the rest of the Pro Division will chase is current road course points leader, Landen Lewis. Lewis is a two-time Road Course World Finals Champion, winning the Semi-Pro Division race in 2021 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the 2022 Pro Division race at New Hampshire.

“It would honestly be really special to me to win three world finals in a row,” said Lewis. “But it would be even better if I could get Joe Ryan Race Cars three wins in a row in the Pro class.”

Lewis, a full-time ARCA Menards Series West competitor, has made two trips to New Hampshire and capturing six victories in 2023.

“Some of the challenges you face at New Hampshire are how fast and technical the course is,” said Lewis. “Most of the corners at this course are really fast, but then you have some slow ones which means you have to change your driving style quite a bit.”

Cole Robie has six road course victories in the Young Lions Division and is the current points leader as he chases his first Legend Car championship. He earned the 2023 Granite State Legends Cars Young Lions championship, along with two first-place results at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and 14 podium finishes.

“I am going into Road Course World Finals with a mindset to stay positive,” said Robie. “I am going into it to try and win the race but I really just know I have to finish.”

The. 1.6-mile road course first hosted the Road Course World Finals in 2015, with 2023 marking the third appearance for New Hampshire. Only Sonoma Raceway (12) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway's outfield course (5) have hosted more Road Course World Finals.

On Sunday, the Masters Championship race will honor a long-time New England and Granite State Legends Cars racer, Bob Weymouth, who passed away earlier this year following a brief illness. His Legend Car, numbered 399, will pace the Masters field before the start the championship feature.

Sunday's championship features serve as the final race in the national championship title battles and is a required race to compete in to remain championship eligible. Currently, Landen Lewis (Pro), Shaun Buffington (Masters), Jase Mongeon (Semi-Pro), and Cole Robie (Young Lions) lead their respective division points standings.

The Road Course World Finals will be streamed on uslegendcars.tv on Saturday, October 7th, approximately at 1pm ET and Sunday, October 8th, approximately at 11am ET. Spectators are able to purchase pit passes for $15 on Friday, $35 for either Saturday or Sunday, or a two-day pass (Saturday and Sunday) for $65.
